Find the placement disclosure
Look near the list or before the first outbound action for a plain explanation of commercial relationships. Determine whether a partner can buy inclusion, a highlighted position or the exact order. A footer-only statement may be too remote to explain a prominent recommendation.
Demand observable criteria
Useful methods name factors such as ownership, licence record, withdrawal rules, payment support, account controls and support access. They also distinguish facts from judgement. Avoid treating a vague ‘expert score’ as measurable when no weighting or comparison date is supplied.
Check the comparison set
A ranking of partners is not necessarily a ranking of the entire market. Read how many operators were eligible, why some were excluded and whether unavailable brands remain in old positions. A strong page makes its coverage boundary clear instead of implying universal completeness.
Recheck the live operator
Scores and offer cards can age. Open the current operator terms and cashier, and verify any claim that matters before registering. Record the page’s last review date. Commercial disclosure improves transparency but does not replace your own account-level checks.
